Basic utensils that I never travel without:

--- A Cooking Kettle:
     For soup, boil eggs, potatoes, pasta or rice.
--- Tumber Blender with blender ball
--- A sturdy Tupperware container (with a lid)
    Use for leftovers or a bowl!
--- Re-usable knife/fork/spoon set
   – buy plastic not metal so you can take it on planes
--- Pocketknife or Multitool
--- Seasonings: salt, pepper, 5 spice,
     paprika, curry, cayenne and garlic powder etc
--- Tube or sachets of mayonnaise and/or mustard
--- Ramen noodles, pasta, rice, canned vegetables
     and beans. Nori rice sheets.
--- Grab fresh letuce and vegetables when you can.

--- Make a plan before you hit the grocery store.

1-A Instant Oatmeal, cooked in the microwave. Add some fruit and yoghurt and you have a cheap breakfast or lunch.

1-B: Smoked Salmon and cream cheese spread with cooked chopped Vegetables on a Bagel.

1-C: Peanut Butter & Jelly (or Jam) sanswich with crunchy Trail Mix make a great breakfast or anytime snack.

2- Anytime: Full English Breakfast: Consisting of fried eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato and baked beans (or vegetable chili) and toast.

3- Anytime Breakfast Sandwich of Sausage or Ham, egg, and cheese on an English muffin or an Egg and Vegetable Omelet Sandwich or fried or jammy boiled Eggs on toast.

4-A: Ramen Noodles - Throw in a can of (or cooked) mixed Vegetables, and top with an Egg poached in the instant noodle soup liquid or add chopped deli Turkey.

4-B: Boxed Mac n' Cheese or Side dish Packets with Pasta or or Rice

5-A: Fried Rice with Vegetables & Egg Ribbons

5-B Veggie Risotto w/ Cream of Mushroom Soup

6-A:  Nory hand rolls: Cook Rice and cut maki sheets into 4 pieces. Serve with canned green beans and fried Sardines.

6-B: Rice Paper Rolls (made with instant noodles) and Veggies or deli Turkey served with a Dipping Sauce.

6-C: Asian Lettuce Wraps made with cooked ground meat and stir fried julienned vegetables.

7- Minestrone Soup with Vegetables and Beans or Corn and Vegetable Chowder.

8- Pasta Salad and a dressing of your choice, then store it in a reusable container.

9- Sandwiches (or Tortilla wraps): Good Old PB & J on Multigrain, Ham or Salami and Cheese, Deli Beef, and Mustard or Italian: with Salami, Mortadella, Capicola and Provolone or Brisket Banh Mi with Garlicky Aioli. Wraps with deli Turkey Tortilla or Tuna or Salmon Salad and Vegetables.

10- Mini Charcuterie with Salami, Pepperoni or Other Cold Cuts or Smoked Salmon, Olives and/or Pickles, a  favorite Cheese and Crackers. Add dried fruit and nuts for dessert.

11- Lobster or Crab Roll with melted Butter.

12-A: Pita Thin Crust Pizza: Preheat oven to 400°F.  Brush a little oil on the pita and spread with Tomato Sauce with Herbs, then add sliced pepperoni, and top with grated cheese. Bake on baking sheet or foil a for 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts.

12-B: English Muffin Pizzas: Preheat oven to 375°F. 
Arrange English muffin halves cut-side up and spread with Tomato Sauce with Herbs on top, then add sliced pepperoni, and top with grated cheese. Bake on baking sheet or foil a for 9-10 minutes or until browned on the edges and cheese melts.

13 - Microwave Corn Chip Nachos with Chili Beans and Cheese

14- Vegetarian Stew with Potatoes and Vegetables.

15- Snacks: Trail Mix, Trail Bars, Apple Slices and Nut Butter or Crackers & Cheese or Corn Chip and Salsa or Peanut Butter & Jelly (or Jam) Sandwich.

16- Microwave Popcorn - Seasoned with Chili Powder & Cheese Powder.
